CYT Houston's Warehouse Initiative

The proceeds from our Spotlight Soiree Warehouse Initiative will be used to develop a plan and start seeding the money to get CYT Houston its own warehouse. If you are not on the Board, you probably don’t know that we spend over $30,000 a year on warehouse rental costs. The current warehouses are far away from eachother, making working together and sharing things difficult without enlisting trailers, and 2 of the 3 are not climate controlled. Our desire is to buy land and build a building that can become the location for all set building, as well as prop and costume storage. We need to engage an architect and put together a plan. Any funds beyond that will be used to start a down payment for the new space.

Our Mission Statement says that Christian Youth Theater develops character and creativity through
quality theater arts training that brings families and communities together while reflecting Jesus. Imagine a place where our community, the family members who work side by side using their gifts and talents to help bring the shows to life, can be in one centralized location that is actually designed to be what we need...a place that allows us to work together more and develop deeper bonds through Christian fellowship. Owning our own warehouse space will then free up the money currently being spent on rent and allow us to dream about what God wants for CYT as we move into the next 20 years of this life-changing ministry. If you know individuals or businesses that would like to support our mission, please send us their information!

We hope that you will join us to make the Warehouse Initiative a huge success!
