Director's Vision Letter

Welcome to our production of A Year with Frog and Toad KIDS! The team and myself look forward to sharing this delightful story with you. We are excited to share and bring the friendship of Frog and Toad to life—complete with laughter, music, and plenty of heart.

At its core, Frog and Toad is a story about friendship that weathers every season. We journey into a forest filled with friends; birds, snails, lizards, mice, turtles, moles, and more!  We see how this community all works together to keep their ecosystem thriving through the highs and lows they encounter along the way.  It reminds us of the beauty in God’s creation and the simple but powerful ways we can reflect His love in our relationships. Frog and Toad are very different from one another—one is optimistic and adventurous, the other more cautious and contemplative—yet together they show us that true friendship is patient, kind, forgiving, and full of joy.

As we rehearse, we will talk about our Biblical calling to “encourage one another and build each other up” (1 Thessalonians 5:11) and that “two are better than one” (Ecclesiastes 4:9). Watching our students grow, not only in their stage skills but also in kindness, teamwork, and courage is what we hope to  inspire in our cast. Every giggle, every missed-cue-turned-victory, and every shared prayer is sure to be a reflection of God’s goodness at work in this community.

With gratitude and joy,
Christina Haynes

Selling the Show

The majority of patrons purchase tickets because they know someone in the show.  Personally inviting people, sharing on social media, etc. are how we fill the seats for the cast.    Please note: The Family Box Office will automatically turn off around 2 weeks before opening night, so if you are going to open it, don't wait.  It's easy to forget and then it's too late.
