More Than a Show!

CYT's programs are about so much more than musical theater! We are dedicated to developing character in children and adults one stage at a time.

As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we are able to serve our community by providing quality, affordable educational programs, and productions. However, ticket sales and class tuition are not sufficient to cover the cost of delivering top-notch programming.

A gift to CYT is an investment in an established, family-oriented organization that helps provide young people a safe, wholesome environment and skills to make better life choices so that they become positive, contributing members of their community. CYT also allows young people to explore the arts in an atmosphere that nurtures their inner creativity while developing their character

Every monthly pledge counts!  Consider pledging a Standing O donation for CYT Houston! 

Members of the Standing O Society are supporters of CYT Houston who pledge to give a certain amount every month.  This helps both the donors and CYT Houston! First, it breaks the donation up into manageable gifts—rather than $300 once a year, your donation is just $25 a month.  Second, it becomes a consistent gift CYT can plan on, so we can responsibly manage our funds to strategically broaden our impact. Third, CYT is a 501(c)(3), and all donations are tax-deductible.  Of course, if you prefer to make a one-time donation…we will happily accept that as well!

Fund our Scholarships
CYT Houston strives to open doors for families in need with scholarships so they can enjoy the benefits of participating in the arts. Scholarships are funded by donations and much appreciated!

Thank you! 
Our annual budget pays for costumes, sets, props, sound, lights, rentals of theaters and classroom spaces, teachers, artistic teams, curriculum writing and design, royalties and many other training and production costs. Only about 80% of the total comes from ticket sales, tuition, and fees. We appreciate your support!

CYT is the single greatest thing I will ever be a part of. It has shaped who I am today and I wouldn't change one second of it. It has given me friends when I had none. It has given me life, and it has given me hope.
