Lisa is thrilled to be teaching a Musical Theater class this fall! Growing up in a family of performers, her passion for musical theater began at a very early age, and she considers it a huge blessing to be able to work with talented young people who share that same passion. Two of her favorite childhood roles were Amaryllis (The Music Man) and Brigitta (The Sound of Music). MUCH more recently, she has been part of three CCT productions — The Hunchback of Notre Dame (statue), Beauty and the Beast (Mrs. Potts) and Hello Dolly! (Dolly Levi). Lisa has two children who were part of CYT for several years. In the past she has enjoyed serving on numerous costume and mic committees and being a part of six previous CYT artistic teams as a vocal director, assistant director, and director. She has also taught vocal, musical theater, and puppetry/ventriloquism classes for CYT North and East.
