Description

In this class we'll explore the weird and wonderful world of Fosse. Bob Fosse was one of the most influential figures in the jazz movement in the twentieth century, coming out in hit shows like Pippin, Chicago, and Cabaret. Popular for isolated, controlled, unique, and picturesque movements. Fosse's style is also known as the "Fosse Amoeba" with small but energetic and synchronized movement in a group. His work was groundbreaking, entertaining, and full of humor and cynicism. In this class we will explore the technique and create our own Fosse show.
