Based on the 2011 movie Rio, join us for an exciting adventure with Blu, Jewel, and the rest of our friends on their journey to freedom. We will dive deep into the basics of musical theatre and learn how like Blu, heroism, courage, loyalty, and friendship play an important role in our everyday lives. 

Students will experience what it is like to be in a musical, with a multi-sensory opportunity to explore movement, music, drama, and art. Activities may include rhythm games, coordination skills, demonstrating expressions, and role-playing with an emphasis on collaboration and teamwork. Students will also learn basic costuming skills, as we transform into birds from our favorite movie, Rio. This class is sure to have you dancing, singing, and soaring with loads of fun!
