We will explore the powerful storytelling abilities of lyrical dance styles as we dive into modern musicals like Hamilton, Six, Dear Evan Hansen and more. Few styles of dance can convey as much emotion, passion, and feeling like lyrical dance. This class will expand students' dance skills as they learn to dance leading from their heart. Lyrical dance combines ballet and jazz techniques with emotional expression, interpreting the lyrics and mood of the music.
